Veronica Pridemore

As the Associate Director of  Military and Veteran Student Services, Victoria is committed to providing top quality student services for all VALOR students (veterans, service members, and their families). As an advocate for students both within the university and externally, Victoria uses her vast experiences as a veteran advocate to ensure all military connected students are receiving the best services.

Victoria specializes in building relationships with national and local veteran services and military organizations in different roles. Her past positions include Military and Veteran Outreach and Partnership Development Specialist at Excelsior College and Program Manager at Veterans Innovation Center. In these positions she worked with military and veteran community organizations, developed partnerships, researched the needs of the community, and develop strategic programs to assist the military affiliated community. 

Victoria has spent over 16 years in the Army and Virginia Army National Guard. She was deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Inherent Resolve. Most recently, she served a tour in Kuwait with the 29th Infantry Division as the Chief Paralegal for the Staff Judge Advocate section.

Victoria is committed to working side-by-side with other leaders and volunteers in the community to make a difference in people's lives. Victoria serves on the DC Mayors Advisory Board of Veteran Affairs, she is the co-founder and current president of American Legion Auxiliary Unit I in Washington, DC, and has worked with other veteran service organizations including Final Salute, Inc. and Team Red, White, and Blue.

Victoria is passionate about helping veterans, service members, and their families find personal happiness and professional success.
